Owning a dwarf caiman in Texas? - owning a caiman in texas

I am looking for a dwarf caiman in the future and I just wanted to know about the laws of property in Texas? I have a lot of experience with reptiles. I can not find a website, on the laws of the owners.

There are no laws regarding the ownership of the State of Texas, alligators and crocodiles, or require a permit. American crocodiles, however, require very difficult to get permission. But if there are no state laws, most big cities have laws against the possession of crocodiles. Most small towns do not have the laws themselves, and if you live in the country, most likely you can legally own them. The best thing to do is look at the website of your city and watch the orders of animals. You should be able to Google for your town.

I had a dwarf caiman several years, but now lives in Arlington, where they are banned. I changed Alligator on a friend who live in the countryside near Austin, and a Nile crocodile and several alligators. Feel free to e --E-mail if I can help more. I have a friend, a biologist and works for the State of Texas is, then he can always call if I do not know the answer. Good luck!
