Getting a large dog.. Question about hip problems? - narrow lot house plans
We will have a dog in December. Currently living with my parents until we are through the reconstruction of our house. We expect to have a dog if we are in what is now our dog, Max, a playmate who move. We have resources for a dog, and Max is neutered and 3, but works like a dog. The types of dogs have been reduced, but not yet been decided
Pit Bull
Boxer
Rottweiler --
Bulldog
I have heard many great breeds of dogs have joint problems and hip, so I asked if it would be a problem floors. It is a house of 1200 square meters and will be mostly carpeted, but the kitchen, dining room and bathroom. We want to go with tile, but are willing to consider other options, whether it will be difficult or dogs with hip problems more likely.
Thanks in advance!
God bless xx

No problem with the hip joint is most often genetic, even though they "may be active," far superior food, excessive exercise, Hard N be slippery. During the growth, avoiding at least until about 10 months, on slippery surfaces, as this may lead to a bending of the bone, and should never tie the pup was also during this period. No large breeds are very sensitive to these problems in the joints of the bones of n, so that its wiser to care at this stage of growth. If u need to use tiles, open to non-slippery.
No tile does not change if the dog has hip problems or not, it's just more of the gene and if a fall or the beginning of something more. All dogs, which I actually prefer to know the tile to hardwood is good, and if only the kitchen and dining room in each case, they will not happen rather have a dog that could be reduced to begging.
I have a / Rottweiler Shepard, who is 100 pounds and 10 years, no problem, but I have a rottweiler and 8 years (85 pounds) that some problems in the joints due to Lymes disease, but was in good health. I believe it is in the genetics of the dogs when they have problems or not.
High quality breeders in the race for good health and temperament. If you do your homework on breeders, which effectively reduce the risk of health problems such as hip dysplasia. Breeders should the necessary medical examinations, including PennHIP and take only the use of values, with good results in the tests.
Joint diseases are actually caused by slippery floors. If you choose a Rottweiler dog, or, especially, you should be careful while joints are being developed. Limited access via stairs, limit, and the jumping and rigorous activity, these activities are based on sensitive joints. You can also add the dog on a glucosamine / chondroitin as a precaution.
The only real problem with the hard, smooth floors and large dogs is the frequent occurrence of hygromas. Large dogs tend down to plop and often leads to a kind of bubble-bag fluid development in the elbow. This is how to cushion the body on the joints. Hygromas are usually harmless and are not painful, my English Mastiff is still small hygromas on both elbows. (They were bigger some time ago, they've partially absorbed.) You really do not worry, but if only a few rooms have hard ground. If each room had tiled floors, you have to throw rugs or carpet runners.
(It is possible that the dog from slipping, but runs the same risk of all races.)
Having a / Shepard-Husky mix, which already includes the boundaries of a large dog and supervised environment to know that I learn more about my carpets with the first group of dogs that you mentioned. Two of them are really Drool! Consider this, if the dogs, but drool Damn I love that dog, as always, when choosing a dog to reflect their lifestyles and envoriorment! Huskie not the best dogs for the dogs they get into a job and are very expressive need, but they get along very well with other dogs! Boxers are pretty hyper, but also loyal and tend to drool, too. Pts Rottes are great, but there is so much better if the boys as if you added another dog.
First, I recommend that u get a pit bull ... are the heart should be sweet and waitig taken.
I own a pit bull (I have always and will always be), and I ALLOVER wooden floors of my house and my dog (Jasmine) works very well! We livig carpet and bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. But the corridors RNT. We carpet and my dog is safer to walk in flats ardwood Wen and not all wells belonging to AT hv I do not hop / joint problems.

Check www.dogbreedinfo.com objective information about the breeds that interest you, and general health information. If you have questions about a breeder in May to go Permissions OFA. Hip problems are genetic, are usually caused by trauma, so that if you should have two parents of the OFA to be good.
Huskies and Malamutes - never heard of hip dysplasia in these breeds.
Rottweiler - hips, elbows, eyes, and a number of other topics
Mastiff - Bull, French or English? These dogs are large, very expensive, short-lived because of their size and * may * have skin problems and bad joint, just for its size. Also drooling because they are paid.
Boxer - I do not know. lol.
For each race, which is not necessary to change the design to renovate their house. Make sure the dog has a comfortable bed to avoid pressure ulcers.
Dogs that you said that all dogs are really great. All I see is that all dogs - except the boxer - the owner of the insurance blacklist. Whor your insurance company? His current dog could have sold their policies if they were prepared to meet the requirements for the charging of ridiculous (dog must be chained to about 8 'high perimeter-is an important requirement). I recommend you look at State Farm Insurance, the only company in the United States, which meets every dog and makes a decision on the individual temperament and not the breed.
These dogs - again, with the exception of the boxer - they are very powerful dogs and can not always good with other dogs. Please be careful if you make sure your new dog and at least one formal presentation.
Please also see the adoption of a property! Pit bulls and pit mixes are in shelters waiting to be approved every day and make a wonderful pet!
Of all the races of U given the best bet is a boxer. While the bounciest are trained and happier. Feros is very dangerous - one of the few races I have seen first-hand turn, one of the owners (the shells for these also) Huskies love to run and run well (and this is that they are for breeding), the holes, of course, bad reputation and can be hazardous if joked. Rott and dogs are large dogs that may have health problems. Remember that the hip is genetic.
It is good that the BR has to go the surface for the puppy, but no matter what if the U is dysplasia in the blood line, usually no matter how well do U for the dog, it will show, however. I used to shepherd hip problems the breed white. I studied a lot of X-rays and genealogies, but my vet told me that I have some of the best puppy I had a few disappointments had seen on the streets. I heard on the breeding, when I learned that some other farmers were misleading, a good dog X-ray, then use the same X-ray and much more. Then people started AKCX-rays mark with tattoo # of individual dogs.
